Belle endroit et jai reçu une belle accueil. Le seul point négatif pour ma par c'est l'eau qui goûte le soufre.

We had a really great time at Terra Perma ! Bobby, who was on site all the time, Robin, who took care of communication and Philippe, the owner were all super friendly and very chill. We have helped with some repairs and with setting up the maple shack. The place felt like a huge playground where you could build anything you want. The hours were very flexible and it was awesome to be in the middle of nature for a month. We'd love to come back !

A life-changing experience! That's how I could describe my stay at Terra Perma for 1 month last summer. I learned a lot working alongside Phil, Ivy and Yoann, who have a deep knowledge of no-till growing, wild foraging and green building. I am very grateful for what I learned from them and from the other great people I had the chance to meet there. Work was very reasonable as I used to work around 4 to 5 hours per day. The hours were flexible in order to best fit our needs, and we could also take a day off whenever we needed it. Whenever we were not working, we could enjoy a hike in the forest (the heron trail is a must!), visit the magnificient lake or have great discussions around the fire. I just fell in love with the place: the land is gorgeous and Terra Perma is a great community formed by inspiring people. After I had to leave for another wwoofing experience, I came back twice as I was already missing the place and willing to help more. I think I finally discovered my favorite place in the world ! Can't wait to go back ! I would definitely recommend Terra Perma to anyone looking for an amazing wwoofing experience !

Terra Perma (Phil, Ivy, Alfonso, Helen, and Kathy) hosted me for a little over 3 months. I'm having trouble coming up with words to describe Terra Perma and my experience there; it was like nothing else I've experienced before in all the best ways. First off, the land is profound and breathtaking. Each cabin I stayed in had it's own perspective on the land too. I worked about 4/5 hours a day and had plenty of time to myself to explore the ~800 acres with my dog, Mochi. Phil even took us a handful of times to secluded spot in the forest where wild mushrooms grew - it was a mossy oasis and blew my mind. The people at Terra Perma made my time unforgettable. I always felt safe, respected, and valued in the interactions I had with the host members -- everyone was always willing to share and help overcome any problems that arose. I think I really made friends for life here. The work was very reasonable and I learned so much about wild foraging, no-till growing, carpentry, and ecotourism. Everyone was very open to new ideas and even gave me the opportunity to work on projects that interested me (assisting the master carpenter, Yoann, building an electrolysis station to restore cast iron pans, and restore a cabinet for food storage in the outdoor kitchen). If you are intrigued at all by the profile for Terra Perma, I strongly encourage you to apply, meet with Phil or Helen over a video call to answer your questions and come enjoy this beautiful piece of Quebec.

This is a beautiful community full of kindness, fun and generosity. It was a pleasure to WWOOF here and I would gladly return (just maybe not in winter!!) Being autumn, the farm did not require a lot of work - gathering leaves, planting garlic and sowing seeds in the greenhouse were my main tasks. I generally spent 3-4 hours a day WWOOFing, but there was lots of community activity to take part in and things to learn outside of the formal “work” time. I made good friends with the other WWOOFers. The property is gorgeous. I loved the secluded nature of the forest, the trails, the swing, the bird life, and was so excited to see a beaver in the wild for the first time!! The autumn leaves were stunning. Being here in spring for the maple syrup harvest would be amazing too. The WWOOFer accommodation was a cosy cabin with a wood stove for heating. (Be aware there’s no running water or electricity apart from lights + USB ports. Also, BYO toilet paper for the outhouse.) Cooking was done in the communal kitchen. Eating the delicious food of Quebec was a huge highlight of my stay, I will remember it fondly always!! Thank you Phil, Kathy, Ivy, Karl and all the other wonderful humans, dogs and cats of Terra Perma.
