We have a beautiful 10 acre hobby farm in Maple Ridge, B.C. Our main crops are Christmas trees, blueberries and garlic. Steve grows most of the vegetables that are able to grow in this part of the world. This is a "hobby farm", as in, it is a retirement project that takes a lot of our time!! We would love to have a Wwoofer come and help us with the maintaining, harvesting and beautifying of our space. We would encourage you to explore the nearby parks, mountains and hiking trails, for which our province of beautiful British Columbia is world renowned, on your "off" time. Public transportation is not easily accessible but we do have bicycles for you to explore the local area.

I spend 10 great days at the Marloon's Farm and really enjoyed all of them. Steve is realy welcoming and has a great knowledge of everything he does. Working on the farm was never boring because we allways had a great variety of things to do, like picking garlic, weeding the garden or taking care of the forest. I stayed at harvest time and was lucky enough to taste fresh garlic, plums, delicious blueberries and lots of vegetables. There are also some realy beautiful places to hike around which are easy to reach by bike. I can fully recommend to visit that farm.

Amazing stay of few days in this farm ! It was my first woofing experience and I was welcomed like a member of the family. The work was diversified and very interesting (plant trees or garlics, pick up last tomatoes or clean the garden). Meals were very good with wonderful products of the farm. Discussion are always interesting and Steve and Debbie desire to discover new people and are very open minded person. It's a very good exercise to improve your English skills too. I can only recommand this woofing ! Thank you again for this trip in Maple Ridge that I will never forget.

We spend one week with Debbie and Steve and are very happy that we found their farm! Both of them are really kind and we felt heartly welcome. The rooms that we got are really nice and so is the rest of the farm. We had a god mixture between some hours of work in the outside and also a lot of free time for exploring or resting. It's a nice kind of working atmosphere and more about the works itself and not about the pressure of selling stuff, which makes it very pleasent to work. And there are many fresh vegetables and fruits for the meals! I would definitly recommend to stay here for a while! Thanks again! :)
