Hello WWOOFers! Created in 2015, ORGANIC ONLY is a Certified Organic Farm located in Cawston BC, in the Similkameen Valley. Because we believe in food sustainability and self-sufficiency, we grow a large variety of high quality fruit, vegetables and herbs. We are a Small Scale Farm: the land dedicated to the food production has always stayed under one acre. We sell all of our production locally through the Farmer's Market, our CSA Box Program, our Online Store and directly at the Farm. Every year we make steps toward a cleaner world: since 2020, the Farm is partly powered by our solar array and we have a Zero Waste program for our customers interested in working with us to limit waste. Organic methods: The land has been Certified Organic for over 25 years. Farming methods: no-till, low mechanized, worked by hand, sustainable, small scale, diverse Certifications: NOOA Current projects: 2026 season is starting and we are working on getting our cold frames ready for early crops. The local Farmer's market is planing to open on April 19th and our CSA Box Program should start mid May this year. So we are working on getting everything in order to be ready to harvest around those dates. This year we wanted our customers to have a better acces to our products, so we are opening a self-serve kiosk at the farm . Internet: access available Community aspects: We are 5 people living on the Farm, 4 adults and 1 teenager. There are the main house, the container, the barn house (and a trailer for WOOFers). Accommodations: We have a small trailer on site that we use as an office. It has a small kitchen. WOOFers are welcome to pitch a tent next to it and to use it (or even to sleep in it, if it's too cold, too windy, or more confortable for them). We have a commun bathroom with a sink, a shower and a washing machine that is accessible to everyone at the Farm. We all use a commun dry composting toilet on the Farm. Meals: Every week, the WOOFers will be given the necessary food. You can expect lots of vegetables from the farm, fruits and eggs. We don't eat that much meat, but at least once a week. Meals might be cooked individually but we are happy to share meal times too. We are flexible. We like to have BBQ together, once a week. We all live very close to each other so there is often people around to share meal with. Work: we work in the mornings and relax in the afternoon. We can start as early as 5am, especially in summer when it's hot outside. We harvest on Wednesday and Thursday so those can be longer days but we have very light Fridays to balance it out. Saturday, we go to the Market in Penticton until 1pm. WOOFers only work 5 days a week, so they usually rest on Sunday/Monday. Animals: 5 cats

Excellent farm and farmers! Highly efficient, smart operation. Great experience. Sure, the cats take some getting used to, but once they warm up to you you'll be in heaven on Earth.
