Seaside Lavender and Cut Flower Farm
New Brunswick
We are a small seaside farm in New Brunswick, growing a diverse range of flowers using sustainable, pesticide-free practices. Our focus is on cut flowers, dried florals, and sustainable floral design, with plans to expand into micro weddings and farm-to-table events. Lavender is one of our key crops, and we carefully harvest and dry it for both its buds and stems, using it in bouquets, wreaths, and other floral creations.
Our farm is surrounded by beautiful beaches, offering a peaceful coastal environment to enjoy during your stay. We also participate in local farmers' markets, where we sell our fresh flowers and dried floral products while connecting with the community.
WWOOFers will stay in shared accommodations with the host and have access to a fully stocked kitchen. In exchange for your help, you’ll gain hands-on experience in sustainable flower farming, with a strong focus on soil preparation, planting, weeding, and harvesting.
Work on the farm varies with the seasons and includes preparing garden beds, planting, weeding, and harvesting flowers for fresh bouquets and drying. Because we grow organically, weeding is a significant part of our daily work, ensuring that flowers have the space and nutrients they need to thrive without the use of chemicals. Lavender is an important crop, and you’ll help with its harvest and drying process. Assistance is also needed for local farmers' markets and deliveries, gathering and preparing flowers for weekly sales. Daily farm tasks may also include general maintenance, organizing workspaces, and ensuring the farm runs smoothly.
This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainable flower farming, learning about organic growing methods and the process of growing flowers for market. The farm offers a peaceful, inspiring environment for those who appreciate nature, hard work, and learning through experience. If you’re interested in being part of a working flower farm and immersing yourself in the rhythms of the growing season, we’d love to welcome you!

Working and staying at Jennifer’s was amazing! That was our first time both, being and welcoming a volunteer.
I was supposed to stay a month and I ended up staying more than 2 which was a very good decision.
Indeed, when I arrived in mid-April, many things had to be done after the winter break. Then, leaving end of June made me able to harvest lavender and some flowers we had planted, arm bouquets and sell them at the market. I only missed the weddings season and the blooming explosion but I might come back to witness it in the future ;-)
Overall, we did:
- Preparing the soil, planting, weeding and harvesting flowers.
- Cleaning and organizing work spaces and tools.
- Arranging the shop, composing bouquets, carrying out sales operations.
- Preparing and delivering orders, running a stand at the local producers’ market.
Always Jenn and her associate Katie were very kind and thankful for the work done and I always felt happy to be there.
Talking about the accommodation, I was using the house basement, which was very convenient and I had a lot of privacy, space and comfort.
I also very much appreciated having dinner at Jenns’ parents every night, meeting her friends, and walking around the house along the sea and in the woods, witnessing beautiful landscapes and local wildlife!
A first Wwoofing experience I will never forget :-)
Thanks for everything Jenn!
