Welcome…our ranch in the woods is called Authentic Wellness Experiences…We have organic gardens, horses and alpacas, a woodworking shop and Art studio as well as a homemade nature spa Center…Our 50 acre property surrounds a our beautiful private lake. There is always on going up keep to the property as there are many buildings and fences…We are Natures Artists here, we follow the sun and watch the sky’s turn the soil, harvest the fruits, we have lovely spots for camping and or putting a small camper…and also have options for lodging…we run a business of wellness experiences here where there is a lot of guest services and nature education opportunities…we look forward to meeting people who want to learn to live in tune with themselves and the world around them ✨ A typical day in the life of a WOOFER here would be...Depending on how you like to start your day you will have option for eggs and a homemade pastry of sorts for Break...a smoothie or we can discuss what your preference for your ideal breakfast would be...you will come to the office to get your meals...I will be making basic stews and soups, burritos sandwiches etc for your meals...The days activities will be based on who is working with you or if you are working alone...The Jobs include Artistic Fencing around the property with our live edge wood, farm work such as grooming animals and cleaning up the stable area...There is also flower and vegetable gardens to weed, plant and maintain on the property...along with an apple and pear tree orchard for harvesting...You will be working with Todd property owner and or Melissa Property manager...There will be live edge sign making for the art walk on the property you will get to participate in as well as other woodworking opportunities... You will Learn skills such as Working with wood working tools and machinery...chain saws, skill saw, hammer, drill, sander planer etc. You will also get to learn some wild food on the property as well as plant identification and skills in the garden as well as garden creations...making new beds and boxes...You will also have an opportunity to guide some tours in the event you are here while tours are on going and also selling veggies at the end of our road...we have a large property with much to maintain, so there is a variety of property maintenance you will be able to participate in and experience... If you are a a body worker or movement teacher of any sorts (yoga, Thai chi etc. Rieki, massage etc) you will be given the opportunity to participate in classes and or teach some yourself...and be added to the roster for special services if that is an interest... We have many great plans that if you have experience in such as small artistic greenhouse building and design, garden box designs, stone work and fire pit building, artistic nature fences, etc please say so and we can add that to your stay and your experience...We will also be building bird and owl houses...Inquire for more details... That is a basic day in the life here on the Farm...and we are excited to have you be a part of our ongoing creations...

It was a great experience with Authentic Wellness Experiences. The property was amazing with organic gardens, horses and alpacas, a beautiful private lake, beach and cabins. The property is beautiful and gave a sense of inner peace and calmness throughout the experience. As a first time wwoofer I was very nervous. Melissa(property manager) was so kind and respectful right from the meet and greet till the end of the experience. After the initial meeting, I was instantly at ease. She gave plenty of options like raking,yard clean up, tilling, weeding, tending to farm animals to choose the kind of task that I'd be interested/felt comfortable. She understood I was a first time wwoofer and was very kind and taught me few techniques with the farming tools to make the weeding process easier. Melissa made sure we had enough breaks in between the chores and we had relaxing time for lunch and walk around the property in the beautiful trail. She encouraged to bring swimsuits so we can enjoy the lake so that the overall experience is not just about work but also a retreating experience. Todd(Property Owner) gave us a tour of the property walking us through the stables, wood working area and art studio and orchards telling us interesting birth stories of the animals. I felt so happy that i was offered plenty of choices and freedom to work and relax at the same time. I am looking forward to continue my wwoofing with Melissa and Todd and i will highly recommend these amazing hosts :)
