We are in a most beautiful area, come enjoy the views, walks around our vineyard or to Blue Beach and look for fossils, bicycle to town, swim in the lake, rope swing, campfires, basketball, beautiful sunsets, star gazing and more. We grow organic table grapes along with herbs and a few fruit trees. There are separate accommodations for woofers to stay in with plenty of food and Internet. Come visit some of our small towns like Hantsport or Wolfville, there is the local bus to see the rest of Annapolis Valley. If you are looking for a real farm experience and want to learn some new things with a bit of fun let us know. This is a more independent stay. New location with new experiences waiting for you. Hope to hear from you soon. Organic methods: Green manure, hand weeding. Certifications: Pro-cert Organics Internet access available

I had a truly great time here. The work was interesting and never too interesting and never too exhausting, and I really appreciated the calm and peaceful atmosphere here. I also learned some new things about vineyards. A huge thank you to Angie, for being such a kind, thoughtful and generous host. You always made sure, I felt comfortable, offered tips on places to visit and checked in, if I needed anything. I also met some nice people here and was able to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding places. And of course Gracie was absolutely adorable and watching the pigs and chickens at their mealtime was also very entertaining. Thanks again for everything! I'm grateful for having stayed at your place for 3 weeks:) Sunny greetings, Luisa

Thankyou so much for an amazing first WWOOF experience! Angie is so generous and welcoming and we felt right at home straight away! We really enjoyed being able to get stuck in and do various jobs in the vineyard such a pulling out old vines and preparing for new ones to be planted especially with help of Gracie the dog! We would love to come back one day to see the vines in full bloom! 🍇

Angie was a lovely host and we had a great two weeks on the farm. We spent most of our work time weeding the vineyard and had lots of free time to explore the region with the car we had access to borrow. There were three other WWOOFers with us for most of our stay and so we had a lively time in the camper, with only minor mishaps regarding water access. I enjoyed the thoroughness of the recycling system, and playing fetch with Gracie:)

We had a very enjoyable stay at Sun Sweet Vineyards. From meeting other WOOFers, learning to use new tools, watching amazing sunsets at the top of the vineyard, to great discussions with Craig. Unfortunately, the lake had been partially drained during our time at the vineyard so we couldn't properly use the rope swing. However we did have bikes and a car which we used to go to nearby beaches, towns and reservoirs to cool off on the hot days. We had a few problems with the RV we were staying in but Craig and Angie would always try their best to solve the issue as fast as possible. We recommend this stay if you prefer a more camping-styled independent stay. Thank you Angie and Craig!! - Margot and Summer
