For the past eight years, my family(husband, Son) and I have had the privilege of welcoming guests from all over the world to our property. What began as a simple desire to share our space has grown into a meaningful journey of connection, hospitality, and healing.
We live in a peaceful, nature-filled setting where open skies, fresh air, and the rhythms of farm life create space to truly unwind. Our property is home to horses, the well known and loved ranch dog, and the barn cats. It offers an authentic farm experience that invites guests to slow down, reconnect, and breathe a little deeper.
Hosting isn’t just something we do — it’s something we care deeply about. Over the years, we’ve created an environment where people can relax, reflect, and focus on their mental well-being. Whether it’s spending quiet time in nature, interacting with the horses, or simply stepping away from the busyness of everyday life, our goal is to provide a space where guests feel safe, supported, and restored.
Welcoming people from around the world into our lives has been an incredible gift, and we’re grateful to continue sharing our home and our little piece of nature with others seeking rest, renewal, and meaningful experiences.
Life on our property is rooted in the simple, meaningful rhythms of farm living — and we love sharing that experience with our guests.
An average day begins with caring for the animals. Mornings often start with feeding, watering, and checking on everyone to ensure they’re healthy and settled. Guests are welcome to take part and learn the importance of consistency, attentiveness, and respect when working with animals.
From there, the day may move into the garden — planting, weeding, harvesting, and learning how food grows from seed to table. We believe gardening is not only practical but deeply grounding, offering a chance to slow down and reconnect with nature.
Throughout the week, we also work on fencing and general land stewardship, teaching guests about maintaining safe, functional spaces for livestock. There’s always something hands-on to learn, whether it’s repairing a fence line or preparing a new area for grazing.
Our horses are a special part of daily life. Guests can observe or participate in grooming, saddling, settling, and preparing the horses for riding. We focus on calm, respectful handling and building trust between horse and rider. Watching — and learning — how we prep the horses before a ride helps guests understand the responsibility and partnership involved.
In the kitchen, we cook wholesome meals, preserve food through canning, and share traditional skills that connect us to the seasons. Writing and reflection are also part of our rhythm, encouraging guests to process their experiences and focus on mental clarity and growth.
Each day looks a little different — shaped by the seasons, the animals, and the needs of the land — but every day offers purpose, connection, and the opportunity to learn something meaningful.
We offer different comfortable accommodation options to suit different needs and preferences. We have a cabin, RV accommodations, or our fully equipped two-bedroom basement suite. Each space provides privacy and comfort, while still being connected to the heart of daily life on the property.
We believe food brings people together, so we invite guests to take part in preparing and cooking meals alongside us. Whether it’s gathering fresh ingredients from the garden, learning to preserve food through canning, or helping prepare a hearty country dinner, the kitchen becomes a space for connection, learning, and conversation. Sometimes guests will be required to make their meals on their own if we are not done our days work or we are out before them in the morning.
Sharing meals around the table creates a sense of community. It’s a time to reflect on the day’s work, share stories, and build meaningful relationships.
For us, hosting is not just about providing a place to stay; it’s about welcoming guests into our daily life, where working together, cooking together, and eating together are all part of the experience.
Our family loves the outdoors and riding horses is one of our main hobbies. When we get the chance to slip away we head to the near by lake to take the boat or kayaks out!
