Our 20 acre certified organic mixed farm borders on the Shuswap River. We grow many different vegetables, flowers, herbs, garlic & berries for local farmers markets, restaurants and wholesale. Vegetable production is our main income, this is a working farm and we have a small hired crew working for us in the summer. We love animals and our farm is home to many of them. We have a CSA program, a farm store, a pumpkin patch open for u-pick in Sept and October. Once a month we hold farm workshops to teach about many skills like cooking and preserving foods, herbalism, felting, community building and regenerative agriculture. If you love the outdoors, good food, animals and learning, we invite you to share our lifestyle for a while. Please email or phone ahead. Organic methods: We grow by organic standards, work with biodynamic principles and regenerative no-till methods. Our animals are not certified organic but we keep them holistically on pasture and feed as much organic feed as possible.  Certifications: NOOA Cert. # 04-364 Seasonal projects and what is going on: April-May: Planting and weeding season. Sheep are lambing. Cleanup and building projects. Early crops and foraging. Beautiful spring flowers. Farmers markets start their summer season. It was a real joy to spend those months at the Green Croft Gardens farm ! I will never forget the moments shared with Gaby, Wolf, their family, friends, and animals. They treated me like family. They are wonderful people, both with their loved ones and with animals. I was supposed to stay for 1 month and I ended up staying for 3 months. The farm and gardens are situated on a large property in a beautiful setting. The meals Wolf prepared were always delicious and varied. Gaby took the time to show me how to take care of the horses and how to behave around them. And Wolf took me to discover beautiful places in the surrounding area several times. I stayed there during the harvest season; the work consisted of harvesting different types of vegetables, washing them, preparing deliveries for restaurants and what is needed for the markets. I sometimes helped with setting up the market. I worked 5 hours per day in the morning and was free every afternoon and during weekends. Once the harvest season was over, I mainly took care of feeding the animals (sheep, chickens, horses, cows) in the morning and evening. I highly recommend this farm if you want to have a great time and discover farm life in the best conditions. I wish them all the best and I really hope to be able to go back soon!

I spent just a short time at Gabi and Wolf's farm, but it was one of the most incredible experiences! It was my first time WWOOFing so I had no idea what to expect, but I was immediately welcomed and treated as a member of the family. The food was so so good, and the scenery was beautiful and relaxing. Since I was there during Summer harvest, we mostly picked vegetables. I would absolutely recommend this farm to everyone!

I enjoyed working at the farm and had an amazing time with Gabi and Wolf. It was fun to help out with their animals and to harvest lots of vegetables like beans, peppers, potatoes and corn. I stayed in a small trailer which was very cosy. The food Wolf prepared was very delicious! I felt very welcome at all times. I would definitely recommend staying at the farm and would love to come back!

While I was travelling in Canada with my 2 kids in summer 2024, we stayed 5 weeks at Green Croft Garden. It was a such good experience! Gaby and Wolf are so welcoming. I was impressed by their kindness. I enjoyed working in the crops and taking care of the animals with my kids. The place is a Little paradise. We had wonderful dinners cooked by Wolf who cooks like a chef !The atmosphere was so friendly with the Whole family and the friends. Gaby, Wolf, Jenny and Alex went out of their way to make us feel good. Thanks a lot dear friends!

I had an excellent month-long stay at Green Croft Gardens, my very first WWOOFing experience. I felt very welcome at their home and I learned lots on the farm. Dinners were delicious! I also really appreciated that they showed me the local attractions, introduced me to friends, and made sure to ask whether there was anything in particular I wanted to see or do during my stay that they could help with. Gabriele and Wolf were both very keen to answer all of my farming questions and share their passion for engaging with the local community and businesses. For the info of potential WWOOFers, the activities in July this year were mainly lots of harvesting, vegetable washing and packing, and weeding, but with opportunities to get involved in other areas/projects on the farm that interested me.

We had such an amazing time at Green Croft Gardens, Gabi and Wolf are amazing hosts and they will make sure you can make the best out of your time there. We loved living and working with them, the animals and and the other workers are just amazing. The work is really pleasant and Gabi and Wolf will make sure, you got enough free time to enjoy the beautiful area around the farm. Wolf is an amazing cook and baker, so there are amazing meals and fresh baked bread. We both got riding experience, so Gabi offered us to take her lovely horses out for a ride every day. If you get the chance to stay at Green Croft Gardens, use it, you will have an amazing time there!
